NTL or AOL?

Being new to the site, I'm not finding it easy to navigate, so forgive me if this is an old topic.
I have no BT line. I have NTL phone and digital TV. My choice of broadband ISP would appear to be NTL or AOL using the NTL hardware. I currently use AOL dial-up, and am fairly satisfied with their service.
Reviews of NTL broadband seem at best mixed. I conclude if I were to opt for AOL broadband, I am going to suffer all the NTL operating problems I have read about anyway. So I might as well cut out the extra layer of complication of using AOL and go with NTL, warts and all. Is this a fair conclusion?

I have been a customer of NTLs for BB for almost 3 years and sometimes you can have the odd hitch but it has been worth having and I wouldn't go back to 56K.

If you go and Join www.cableforum.co.uk and www.chetnet.co.uk you will have direct access th NTL emplyees who are willing to help.

NTL uses proxy servers they are transparent so unless they mess up you shouldn't know.
