Yes they did indeedy PB2000, always amazed me how it worked at all, it was tiny, if you stretched, you could touch the top of it.I really need to get myself an O2 sim as I've always avoided them being in the west of Scotland.
I seem to remember the pretend flag pole on Kilwinning Abbey was put up back in the 3G days by 3 and T-Mobile got access through MBNL which did wonders for their coverage in the town.
Did O2 not have a mast next to the telephone exchange which was removed in the cornerstone share.
From plenty of experience with O2, I'd guess these speeds on an 800MHz site:Hi,
O2 is finally getting round to upgrading their mobile masts in my area from 2G only, to 4G. Their 4G service will be on B20 - 800Mhz - and they will be using radio backhaul links.
Can anyone tell me what sort of data download speeds we should expect from this service?
