O2 and Virgin Media introduce new Virgin Media O2 ID

VMO2 has now introduced a Virgin Media O2 ID. They'll begin sending emails to VMO2 customers to link their My O2 and My Virgin Media accounts.

Eventually, you will only be able to sign in with VMO2 IDs.

Just as a reminder, they haven't even finished the Virgin Mobile migration yet, and O2 still has millions of customers who haven't migrated to their 360 billing system. They should be focusing on that before changing the way people sign in.

Probably should have put this in General Discussion, can't move it now.

Going to be fun how this works out since we have two My O2 accounts under the same email iirc (one that was used for getting Priority when we only had VM broadband and was using Virgin Mobile/Tesco Mobile at the time and another that has both of our migrated Virgin Mobile accounts). I assume other people are in the same situation as well.

I assume this is somewhat related to sign in issues that people have been experiencing lately as well.
