Can just see the following on Trust pilot...

Dreadful service from O2, unable to use data anywhere in Wolverhampton. They need to improve the local network etc...

Than the penny drops when they realise that Cornerstone has actually applied to put a mast in to improve the local network and it got rejected by locals.
the hypocrisy - it's the same thing when people make a decision to endorse something, but then that something they endorsed turns out to be full of it and was a bad decision for them, and everyone else.

Much like a certain decision in 2016 need I say more?

In any case, it's always those who protest against having network improvements made to improve the network where they live and work who are the first to complain if the operator has congestion affecting the local area or it's those who protest simply because because they are gullible in believing the nonsense spouted by idiots.

O2 came to work today.

they’ve stopped texting me about the reported issue. Allegedly there’s planned maintenance on the 25th.
In fairness to O2 they have maintenance planned on the 27th again so realistically they should update by then on my local mast.
Of course, it's always possible for me to visit my local mast as it's only a 6 minute or so walk.

I think I had that where they didn't update some time back, however they did eventually update it.

In fairness it could be due to storm Bert's high winds as to why, if that's the case then an update stating that would be nice.

(Don't actually fall under the warning last I checked, but close enough)

Edit: yep, still doesn't cover here, however the wind is strong enough to say it does

Guys bit of a silly question which I think I know the answer to but my family members sim is going from £5.44 to £6.94 presuming o2 increases the price by £1.50 in 2025, is there any point me getting a £8 uswitch Black Friday sim now or should I just wait until after the April price rises?

Its actually £1.80 not £1.50 so its £7.24.

I would wait until mid March as usually tariffs after this date get a year before the next price rise...

Finally got my Sony Xperia 1 VI! Haven't had much time with it yet but im very pleased with it so far, although I am having problems with O2:rolleyes:. Tried to get an esim replacement and O2 in their infinite wisdom have removed the "Replace your sim" option under My O2, so you can no longer get a replacement sim/esim yourself, and instead have to call O2 support (would rather end it all then deal with them) or go instore.

Luckily I live close to an O2 store so thats not an issue, the REAL issue is that O2 never updated any of their support pages to say they removed the "Replace your sim" option so ive spent hours looking through every page on the MyO2 website trying to find something that doesnt exist anymore! Gahh!:ROFLMAO:

They removed it some time ago, now you have to spend 40-minutes trying to get through to CS.
