O2 ripping off!!!

O2 started charging for my blackberry services. It was agreed free when I got the contract. O2 send the letter confirming that but I have miss placed the letter. O2 saying they don't send that letter out. And 500mb data is not the same as 500mb blackberry data and blackberry their is charge of of £5.

What can I do I'll try and find the letter but they are saying 500mb data is not the same as 500mb blackberry data.

Can I complain to some body ?

Ask them to define precisely what constitutes "Blackberry" data and to point out where the related definition is for the T&C's that you signed up with (dated to your signup, unless you agreed to different T&C's more recently), as it may be that they're doing the same as T-Mobile and now charging for certain content but not others (e.g. email might be free).

I dont know Mark, who ever picks up the phone don't have clue what they are talking all they are saying is whats on the my o2 page which is wrong. O2 saying they never send a paper contract out but they did to me to cancel I have to pay £490 if i continue I'll pay more than.

This is the last I'm with o2 moving to Vodafone soon as I resolve this

found the letter which clearly says blackberry data emailed them today. We'll see what they do now.

Good luck, my O2 account got into a complete mess when I changed from a business simplicity contract to a 12 month business shared minutes contract. The O2 call centres were hopeless, threy always said it was sorted but it never was. The account got into a complete and utter mess with unintelligable bills, full of credits and debits that could not be understood. Write to the O2 compliants dept, the address is on the bill. They then assign a more senior person to sort out the mess. Since then they have been OK. I wouldn't move to Vodafone if I were you, they are much worse than O2 in my experience. They sent me an invoice monthly for 6 months for the use of a 3G USB dongle that I didn't even have!

Thanks Fred,

Well, after a while they refunded the money and stop charing for Blackberry services. Only because I had the letter. If I didn't had that letter I would have been stuck paying over £180.

What's the deal about O2 not keeping a copy of the contract they send out. I dont think they selling team just give u a contract and don't tell the billing team.
