O2 has followed other providers (like I think AT&T or T-Mobile US, not sure) by moving their RCS services to use Jibe by Google instead. During the process, RCS will be unavailable for up to 5 days.
I'm already actually having issues, was able to receive an RCS yesterday but RCS chats are already unavailable. One thing off their heads, but cutting off customers from service for up to 5 days doesn't sounds to me like a well planned migration. Either they don't care or it is Google.
I think my post explains that quite clearly lolThis is part of the migration from Mavenir to Google RCS. Migration started yesterday (Tuesday 10th Oct)
Didn't mention Mavenir thoughI think my post explains that quite clearly lol
Another service outsourced to Google.. Just great.Just had my RCS moved from O2 to Jibe, noticed that RCS was gone last night but it's back on Jibe now
Unlike what O2's communications said, I didn't have to agree to the terms, but I assume that was due to me accepting it in the past since Virgin used Jibe.
(apologies for Pleasant Green in PiP)

Yeah I don't think that did anything. I'm going to try and uninstall the beta version of Messages I'm currently using but doubt that'll make any difference.Seen that before on other networks and with RCS and has been going on for years... Have a look at his on the Pixel Community,
I don't remember having any issues from Virgin, everything with O2 has been interesting, that's for sure.I used to get this on Google.
Sure I had to switch it off. Remove the app completely. Then download it again, make sure number was updated correctly in the messages app before switching it on.
