OneWeb to Launch 40 Satellites with SpaceX

Unrelated - but cant seem to create a relevant new thread in General....

Is anyone having weird forum issues at the moment, like
- having to re-confirm likes
- other like options, such as haha are no longer there
- cant create threads

Or did I just pish Mark off somehow 🤣

Edit: oooh the like options are back. Is this place haunted or am I slowly but irrevocably losing my marbles? 🙈

This definitely happened. I was not in a parallel dimension...

I noticed an inability to comment on this article, with either Chrome or Firefox:
It's still like that for me. I E-mailed Mark about it, but got no reply.

As routine, we are now disabling comments on 'special offer' (category) updates, although this isn't a new practice, but it's not something I follow too religiously either. But allowing comments on promotions can sometimes conflict with the advertising agreements of the networks we use on those pieces.

With a throughput of up to 195 Mbps download and 32 Mbps upload speeds, it features external GNSS input for GPS denied environments.

The FoldSat LEo terminal also slides into a backpack folded for increased portability for command & control, situational awareness or even just welfare needs which make it ideal for land, air, maritime or Special Operations Forces, humanitarian and disaster relief, and emergency services,

Might be handy for a picnic table too. 😊

I wonder if Ukraine might be using these soon, given that Starlink seems to have become less reliable for military purposes. Seems like it could be a good fit for their needs. But then the fact that Russia has some GEN1s stuck in a warehouse somewhere, when combined with a much smaller fleet size, might make them easier to target/jam.
