Yep: you phone BT support. That's the only way. But if it's only just been installed, give them a couple of days first so that their systems have a chance to sort themselves out.

If you don't get any joy after a few weeks of trying, then there are escalation paths.

If you find that BT support is terrible, then don't forget that there are many different ISPs who will sell you service over Openreach FTTP infrastructure: you don't have to buy it from BT. However, you're probably locked into a contract so won't be able to change for 2 years.

Sounds like it's all activated and working for @k2smith , just that there's some admin process that isn't closed and the order is shown as pending in a customer facing portal somewhere.

If it's working, and it's not impacting your enjoyment of the service, I would leave it be for the time being. If it's still pending in a few months it might be worth prodding support but it's unlikely to be worth wasting your time chasing the supplier.

Seriously, when I moved into a new build 4 1/2 years ago the FTTP order was left open for over a year. It did not effect useable or them billing me and I just ignored it.

Finally order now shown closed ,but BT have tied me to April 2025 instead of August 2024 as I have upgraded to fttp from fttc
So be aware folks if you upgrade to fttp using BT they will start you on a new contract 🤬

This is a very normal thing as FTTP is a different product so new contract is to be expected, almost all other companies will do this as well.
