Hi,
I have 3 lines to an office. My service provider is BT.
Over a period of time, the bills have gone up and up. So I got some quotes off other providers and as they were significantly cheaper. When it came to switch, they couldn't do it as the said Openreach hold the incorrect postcode for where the lines are.
They said I had to get BT to change the postcode on Openreach database.
Obviously I call BT and they tell me it is correct on their database, which it is on the billing address. They won't put me through to someone with more sense, due to the fact they will know I'm probably going to change.
Does anyone know if BT has a department for this kind of thing or any idea how I can get them to change openreach database.
I can't terminate my line and get a new deal with someone else as I can't loose or change my number.
