I've just noticed on this map : https://mastdatabase.co.uk/maps/streetworks/ that openreach appear to have increased the work unblocking ducts and laying some new track on my estate. Is this potentially a pre-cursor to running the necessary fibre for fttp?
Also although an altnet (looking at you toob) might be put off overbuilding in an existing openreach fttp area, isn't there also some positives if they have unblocked all the ducts before you get there? You might even be able to bring the service up before openreach does if you got the timing right?
