Either as shown in the picture (last picture): this router has many other hidden menus in the control panel. In the developer tools, simply run the code:

$('li[style*="display:none"]').show()

Or like this 😁:

For developer mode 😀 insert this and see pictures but info:

Step 1: Log in to ODU and expand the Device Management menu.

Step 2: Launch the developer tools in the browser, paste the following code and run it in the console:

$("body").html(function(index,html){return html.replace("system_device_login_password","system_eng_general").replace("system_device_system_settings","system_eng_lte_ca").replace("system_device_backup_restore","system_eng_rf_band");});

Step 3: From now on, clicking [Login Password / System Settings / Backup] will launch: Images

I bought that today

should work too

An MC7010 and Zyxel 7101 with SDX55 only have a maximum of 12W, i.e. 48V with 0275A and 15.4 watt power supply

I tested tenda, Tplink, cudy, Delta Elektronik, digitus power supplies and 3x 12V 1A adapters for non poe but they all beep, hum, hum

I hope it fits now otherwise outdoor will be gone

I sold askey and cudy today and got Magenta Outdoor again for 111 euros with shipping

Now we all have wnc magenta outdoor routers again

my son, my brother and me

best for outdoor until something new comes in 2025

Askey is very hot

Askey Horror so hot

Been reading through with interest as I am in the market for an outdoor 5G router. Seems the main options atm are Zyxel NR7101, Huawei CPE Max and ZTE MC889, but which is the most reliable?

My plan is to bridge it to my Unifi Dream Machine SE as I have access points already installed so dont need the wifi router that they are bundled with.

My son, my brother and I now have the WNC Outdoor Magenta router

I previously had the askey 6300

I could now buy a ZTE 7010 for 100 euros

Is it worth changing?

Hi All,

Planning to flash my ZTE MC7010 from UAE firmware to Finnish firmware. Does anyone of you know if the Finish (or any other) firmware support manual network selection? (so I not mean 3G/4G/5G) but rather the manual selection of the MNO. This comes in handy when taking the modem abroad and you are roaming.

This would be my main reason to flash the firmware as the Etisalat UAE firmware is not offering this functionality.

Thx in advance,
Br David

Recently bought a three branded ZTE MC7010.
It came with FW H3G_GB_MC7010DV1.0.0B09, which I understand is not the latest one. Wondering if upgrading to the latest or possibly @stich86 custom FW would unlock more CA combos? Currently seeing CA Inactive...

Combo remains the same :)

Hi everyone!
I have the ZTE CPE MC7010 outdoor router in Finland from Elisa. My problem is that sometimes lost the connection ( I think because the 5G signal not so strong in my place) and it's working only if I'm manually restart it.
So what is my possibilities for automatic restart upon connection is lost?
Thanks!

I'm using the MC7010 connected to Three and for the most part it works great. I generally get 3-400Mbps but I need to apply the javascript hack to band lock it to a mast with 5G. There's a closer 4g only mast and without the band lock the router insists on connecting to this which, whilst reliable, is obviously slower.

The problem is that the 5g mast/connection seems to a little flaky. Every day the signal will be lost multiple times for a few minutes and there's been no signal at all for the last 24 hours. Because of the band lock the router doesn't fall back to the 4g mast without a factory reset.

So my question is are there any outdoor 5g routers which would handle this better? Ideally I'd like it to prefer the 5g mast but if for whatever reason that's not available then automatically fall back to 4g before reconnecting to 5g when possible. Worst case simply being able to remove the band lock without a factory reset would be a improvement.
