Outdoor CPEs

4G CA depends on the enodeB or mobile tower. You only need a CA enabled device to access that feature. You can't enable CA on tower by using your 4G router

@Kiankassie as enclosed it works if all good on the other end

Guys , this SDx55 MC7010 is capable for doing all SA/ NSA , mmWave, LTE bands worldwide. But we are lacking a robust and reliable firmware which does all the combination, bands as bellow that will benefit people across the world. With Telia , Elisa, DNA, Play firmwares supports bands that can only be used in some countries in Europe,UK

LTE Bands1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 66, 71
NR NSA Bands1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41, 77, 78, 79
NR SA Bands1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41, 77, 78, 79
mmWave n257, n258

Hopefully incoming days we will have a global robust and reliable firmware.

Please put forward your thoughts...

Since this is a UK forum we don't really care about anyone else. (Brexit! Hello?!)
That's Ok but we are together with one Hardware for MC7010 that is used across the globe, though firmware differs across the world (region specific).

My reply above, perhaps not very obvious, was "tongue in cheek" ;-)

@mattieskohytonen @grealish @redisred Hi , Hope you guys are not running Chinese Firmware. Anyone installed the ones from either Play, Telia , Elisa ? What are the band locking features available on them ? What differences do you guys see from the original Chinese Firmware. ? Is the connection stable now .. Please post your results
Hello @rak093 ,
hello to all,

i'm from Germany and i'm very happy to found this Forum 🙃 With these very good informations i was able to flashing my MC7010 with other Firmware. Stock was the Chinese one and i was not able to reach a 5g connection because of missing Band Support of some Europe bands..

So the connection turns from 4G+ CA B1+B3 now to a 5G (NSA) CA n3 + B20+B1. It seems that the used Elisa FI Firmware works very well and is stable too..☺️

I can say, the hidden pages are working too and the Elisa brings this LTE ENDC Band locking menu with it. I can add some other informations and Screens later for you.

I'm interrested in other experiences here.

regards from germany
chris

Danke Chris. Waiting for screenshots and other helpful stuffs from you with regards to ZTE MC7010.
What speeds you getting with n3+B1+B20 ?

@rak093 @chris_nature @grabaar and others
2 questions:
1 - can anyone share the link or publish the Elise/alternative firmware?
2 - does the MC7010 have bridge mode (modem mode)?

@Lucian it's available on androidhost.ru

You can use any overlay ad remover plugin for Chrome or Firefox.
Or you can use vpn to download the firmware and follow the service manual pdf on how to install ELisa , Telia or Play firmware

@Lucian when you search for "MC7010" it shows firmware of play, Telia, Elisa.
To be honest I have not installed any of those so far. Because I am still in Chinese stock firmware which gives me band 40 of LTE. which I will potentially los when I install any of Play, Elisa or Telia firmwares. May be others on this thread can reply you who have installed these firmware from Androidhost.ru website.

To the best of my knowledge. They support all bands for Europe Play, Poland Telia and Elisa Finland

Hi Rak. After the update i've got much higher speeds in my use case 😊 coming from a peak ~ 140 Mbits down and ~ 25 Mbits upload now to ~ 190 Mbits down and ~ 50 Mbits Up Speed. For my home location this is absolutely awesome
