P2p question

posted the same thing in IDnet's section. so maybe Paul (Aquiss rep) can answer this. do Aquiss throttle P2P? I am not a heavy user, but don't want to join an ISP that throttles speeds.

thinking of leaving UKOnline. Aquiss and IDnet are the 2 main ones I am looking at joining.

From what I understand P2P traffic is temporarily being treated as low priority until 10pm (off peak time), which could mean reduced speeds at peak times. This is only a temporary measure until a new pipe is installed in December to give greater capacity. Once this happens, there will be no restrictions in place.
