Maxping, how are IDnet with P2P? do they throttle speeds?

I know they have a cap, and I am not a heavy user. 30gb is easily enough for me per month. but if they do throttle speeds, then I will have to look elsewhere.

Hi Stealth, they do not throttle or shape at all, they also do not count the uploads to-wards your monthly usage .

I don't know if you have been to the official site but they recently added a new package with a 60GB allowance , extra GB's can be bought for £1 per GB.

Always worth looking at the ISPs own forums as well for answers.
Kits thanks for posting the link the more the merrier.

I would like to add that the IDNETters forums are unofficial IDNet forums though IDNet have put a link to them from their home page , we must be doing something right

Simon the co owner of IDNet also uses the forums.

many thanks Max, sounds great. any downloading I do, is in peak times. so to get very slow speeds during this time, would put me off. I do not expect to download at super speeds all the time duting peak hours. but as long as it's reasonable, then I would be happy with that. as I say, 30gb would be great for me. when I 1st got DSL over 1.5 years ago, all I looked for was "unlimited" I would now look for a capped ISP. quality is far more important than how much you can download. hopefully capped ISPs can slow down the hoardes of people who download 24/7.
