Do you own a PDA ? What make and model is it ? What do you use it for ?

I have a IPAQ 2210 the main reason I got it was for use as a multi function remote, mp3 player, calender and games :D .

One real big negative is the side grips fall apart I had it for 8 days when one went had a new set sent out and the other side has now gone :crap: .

I have a Sony Clie PEG-T625C.

Its not brilliant, but it does its designed job - keeping me at the right place at the right time!

Also find it useful being able to carry a full address book/phone number list around with me.

AvantGo means I can press a button in the morning, then read ISP Review and BBC News when I'm bored in lectures  :D

Unfortunately, it doesn't have wireless lan, nor can it be added. For this reason, the next one I get will be an iPaq.

I've a HP H550 iPAQ, excellent PDA, worth every penny and definately worthy of being top of the HP range. Use it for breaking/fixing our servers when on the move mostly but also music, email and browsing. :)

I just bought a (barely used) Sharp Zaurus SL-5500 from eBay for about 60 pounds. It runs Linux so hopefully I may be able to write the odd app for it in the future. :)

Still regulary using as Psion Series 5 for both home and work. Looked at other smaller makes, but can't make my mind up which I prefer so sticking with the S5 for now.

I also have the Hp 2210 ( and 3970 + 3630).
Use the 2210 for In Car Sat Nav - TomTom 3 Bluetooth, plus MP3 and DVD watching whilst away on business. With the CF and SD slot, there's a huge amount of storage available.
The 3970 is for Sat Nav in my wife's vehicle and the 3360 is now a paperweight, but runs TomTom Sat Nav Version 2 (not 3 as both others do) TomTom wired receiver and is a good fallback position if ever required.
Free (better) 2210 sides are available from HP, it's a known problem, and there are other after market add on sides in metal for about £25 a pair.

what you use to play films with as I can't get .mpg or .avi to work on it using WMP and DivX player.

Use DVD to Pocket PC, 25 bucks but worth it, to convert to PocketPC format then plays using onboard 2003 Apps.
Conversion occurs at about "real time" ie 2 hour movie, 2 hour conversion time using a 3GHz Athlon + 1GB mem, I transfer to PPC using a card reader.
ps Use a good set of headphones.
