What about a tp-link AC-1300 & Wi-fi Hotspot and a Huawai 5G phone?

Yeh, I don't like the sound of the USB 2 slowing things down since I can get 800mbps on 5G in my loft.... My hunt for a sub £100 5G router continues.

I'd say lookout for a ZTE MU5001 on eBay. I checked on sold items and there was some going for £120. It also has a ethernet out so you don't need to mess with tethering.

Vodafone did a deal a couple of months ago where you could get one for free if you signed up for a month data plan. I tried to do it myself but they cancelled the order as they ran out of stock.

In saying that, I bet a lot of people did it to scalp them so I think some will show up
