Information from pPlus net poor to say the least.
Didnt send me an e-mail for activation so i had no idea when i would be activated.
Did receive an e-mail saying "now you have been connected for 14 days your line has stabalised".
Used to be with Madasafish and never any problems apart from 20 gig limit.
Setup router for Plusnet and couldnt get online, one and a half hours on phone to tech support and 25 reboots of the modem later still no broadband.
Excuses like Modems faulty and many others, so if modem/router faulty why can i still get onto my Madasafish accout and not Plusnet, they have no idea.
One of their tech managers did send me an e-mail saying my broadband had not been routed properly and it would be sorted.
Tried setting up router yesterday, great it works, decided to phone friends with new e-mail address and now phone doesnt work, had to phone plusnet on mobile of course at my expence, went through the usual unplug this try that and still no phone, then received an e-mail saying i had to put 4 digit code in front of the number i was calling, tried that, still no phone.
Went online last night broadband speed 1.9meg on an 8 meg connection, even on madasafish i managed 6.6-7.2meg, if i get any closer to the exchange BT will charge me rent for living their.
So in conclusion bad all round service and if my phone isnt sorted today i'm off, as far as i am concerned they are in breach of contract and the service is unfit for perpose.
