I had thought with Ian Wild comming back would mean you changing back to admitting your wrong when wrong but no. Last 5 months or so have seen you change to what I didn't join nearly 5 years ago.

You bought over Metronet and inherited a 155 pipe you had to pay off a contract on, which cannot be used inline with your 622 pipes so we cant be Load balance Off it. So you decided to put all Loyal customers on it, can you guess what the problem is yet?

Yep it can't handle the load, packetloss at peek times / random excessive pings = slow web / gaming. This is a nice bonus for customers that have been with you for 4 or more years, mood looking for a new ISP

Gus,

There's a number of contributing factors leading to the problems you describe. It isn't so much a blancing issue like those seen when we had a mix of pipes before, because we are now able to steer sessions to certain pipes. The issues of yester-year were due to the way the round robin balancing worked (or didn't?) with the mixture of 155's and 622's.

Irrespective of this @plus.net and @plusnet.co.uk customers should now be back on the 622's. Incidentally we have some free-online customers still on the 155's and from what I hear they're getting some nice P2P speeds ;)

I understand your's and perhaps others' frustrations but we did not envisige the problems that ultimately occurred when we reintroduced the 155. Apologies to all it affected.

Regards,
