Poor service from Plusnet

Regardless, you need to raise another fault because we're not doing anything about the situation at the moment.

So, Plusnet is aware of the problem, you can see errors in the logs, people on here have made several suggestions as to the likely cause and yet the ball is yet again in my court to do something about it. Epic customer service fail.

I heard yesterday from BT that I will have fibre by the end of the year, so hopefully that will sort it out. It certainly won't be with Plusnet.

Nick, this isn't an official avenue of support. Whilst I'm happy to do what I can to help the situation, you need to have reported a fault against your account so that I can refer it to the relevant department here. It takes very little of your time. Just complete the troubleshooter over at faults.plus.net

If you think you're not getting anywhere then let me know and I'll see if I can nudge things in the right direction. I'm confident the problem can be sorted out but like I said, it may take a bit of persistence on both sides. You telling us that the problem is still ongoing and us applying pressure on BT Wholesale/BT Openreach to get to the bottom of the problem.

Moving to fibre /might/ resolve your problem but not if it's something to do with the 'last mile' of copper that runs to your house.

Best regards,

Hi NickC4555 while I can see where you are coming from over problems with speed/performance one thing every customer should remember is that an ISP serves hundreds plus customers they cannot afford the resources to check every customers line. That is why we as customers have to inform them if we are having problems. Then we continue to complete every task to try and avoid the expensive openreach charges for not finding a fault.

Regardless of which ISP you go to the ball is still in your court to first inform them you are having problems.
