POP3 email

Hi folks,

Simple question..Is there a free email that allows POP access? Reliable and good service goes without saying.

:)

googlemail

Yahoo too.

You have to enable it in some options tho. Just setup a whole family on outlook express with yahoo.

Its reliable, and Ive heard googlemail (mentioned above) is good as well, but I dont use it much so cant say.

What I can say, is that hotmail is dreadful, dont use it.

It's for my Mum, she already uses Yahoo..but has 'problems' using it online. I was under the impression you had to pay for Yahoo to get POP access? If you know otherwise, please tell..or PM me (i will google around on that too). Yeah, it's express i wanna configure for her, if i can get the POP sorted.

Hmm, yeah i just had a snout about..seems you do have to pay to get POP on Yahoo. Swines!!

Also discovered that Googlemail is Gmail..I had actually heard of that one!!

Thanks guys, Merry Christmas. :D

No you dont have to pay for it, but you do have to activate it.

Log into yahoo mail.

On your mail screen, click on options.

Under managment you will see pop access and forwarding.

When you click on it, you get a number of options.

I want to use mail forwarding and POP access. Please contact me occasionally about special offers, promotions and Yahoo! features. To learn more about Yahoo!'s use of personal information, please read the Yahoo! Privacy Policy.

Tick it, but dont worry about spam.

Lower down the screen, tick the box that says:

Only send me offers for categories I select below.

And simply dont tick any of the boxes! Sorted.

Heres a link how to setup with outlook express.

If you need anymore help, ask or PM me.
