Port number from BT FTTC to FTTP

Morning all

Does anyone know if you can port your landline if moving from BT FTTC over to FTTP? This is being rolled out in my area now and I run a business from home and need to keep the landline

I read somewhere that they need to give a new number as the number is VOIP but this was some time ago...

Kind Regards

Jim

When I dropped my ADSL and BT landline for 4G only I ported my number to Sipgate for £20 and now use their service using a Cisco SPA212 plugged into the main router and 2 phones can be plugged into the SPA212. I don't ring out so to me the service is free but you can buy a monthly fixed rate for outgoing calls or just add a credit.
