What are we expected to understand when an ISP advertises that they do not close any IP ports?
Are there some ports that it would be an advantage to close?
(135, 445, anything to do with MS-Win's NetBIOS)
Does the 'no close' clause imply that we DSL users can access any service and even offer any service from our terminal equipment - or like "free" and "8Mbps" does it mean "no" at pre-sales but not quite when actually used/delivered?
