Well it really does matter. I had my router CP pro in the living room which linked to a mast 70 yards away but only on 4G usually 50mbs. Except when that was down and it connected to a 5G mast at the back of the house half a mile away usually around 90-100 Mbs. Last couple of weeks the one 70 yards away was down but it’s now repaired but the speeds have dropped around about 17 to 20 Mb per second, so I decided to unplug everything and try the router in the back bedroom which should pick up the 5G mast half a mile away. It did and I’m now getting speeds of 400 Mb per second! Positioning really doesn’t matter
