can someone explain why my post was deleted for reasons of SPAM. it was a single post offering hosting services.

what is SPAM about that ?

did you actually ask permission? its one thing posting links but quite another to advertise services you would profit from, you call it old school but l dont know any forum which allows commercial interests to post links without some interaction from the site owner, especially given how many malicious services are out there.. yours is entirely likely to be legit yet without interaction with with Mark it was obviously going to be seen as spam.

Complaints were received about it being spam. I judged it to be SPAM. The post was removed as SPAM, as per the rules. This is all fairly normal.

To be fair, I should probably remove the hosting forum as it's not so relevant these days. But still, we have a strict anti-SPAM rules, with only a few exceptions.
