(Resolved) Can't SMS Voda/O2 Numbers (PAC iD -> Lebara) - EE Number originally

So I've ported my number to Lebara today, got the SMS and email from them saying it's all complete, however I can't text Vodafone or O2 numbers, 3/EE are fine but O2/Voda are failing to send sms.

Could this just be a case of wait until the end of the day and it should sort itself out?
I've seen people posting on here about split ports and it doesn't give a good first impression.

Just wait till the end of the day and all being well it should sort it's self. If not, lebara's support is ace and will sort you out

Yes I've had it where for several hours and up to a day after a port things are a little strange with text messages going to the old SIM or just not coming through.

When I've ported into Lebara before I've had a 'port complete' text from them very early in the day.. I think it was literally before 8am once. I get the impression they send the text when they've done their bit of the port, but obviously there's at least one other network that needs to do their bit, and potentially two.

Seemed to be the same here, all is sorted now it seems 👍🏻

When you port into Lebara, is it different to Vodafone?

My number for example originated on Vodafone. If I PAC’d into Lebara, would it be returning back to Vodafone?

nah, this only holds true for voxi in which there is a service that allows you to transfer your account immediately from Vodafone to voxi.

So although Lebara use the Vodafone network, the number will have forwarding files on it from Vodafone (network the number originated on) to Lebara?

Yep.
It's all to do with the PAC code first 3 letters. Example: I moved from Three to Smarty and despite them both being basically the same network like VF and Lebara, Three uses 'HTG' (THB if it's a business account) and Smarty uses 'LSC'. Vodafone uses "VDF" and lebara uses "LBR" I believe.

My number that originated on T-Mobile had a PAC code that would start O2O or something similar to that (One2One).

Smarty = LCS (perhaps 'Low Cost Service', before they'd decided on the name?)
Vodafone = VUK
Lebara = LEB

They always start with three letters. I'm guessing it was 'ONE' - that's what EE's PACs begin with (presumably from the One2One days). Incidentally, PACs relate to the network you are porting out of, not the network the number originated on.

Yeah knew it was along those lines. Couldn't remember the VF one properly as I haven't see a VF PAC in ages.

EE originating numbers seem to be EVR as far as I remember but this may deviate.
O2 = TEF
Vodafone = VUK
Three perosnal = HTG
Three business = THB

On Vodafone you used to be able to port from PAYM to PAYG using a PAC, this was years ago though when I still worked there
