Rural internet - Slow FTTC + 4G Load balancing?

It turns out that UW are doing it differently: they are simply rate limiting downstream to 40Mbps and upstream to 20Mbps. This is still better and cheaper than what I get with Lebara (20/5, £25/month), but I was hoping to get full EE speeds of 160/30...

EE limits the options for practically all third parties using the network - the best options are only available direct (including via BT as it's obviously the same company). It's always noticeable when with a friend using UW who goes on and on about it's the same, then we do a speed test and he sees every single time... no, no it isn't...

then again all EEs MVNOs speed capped.

BT mobile isn't the same; they limit to 30 down 20 up. if you pay for double speed (Another 5 £/mth) they raise this limit to 60 down 30 up. If You have BT Broadband + BT Halo, there is no limit and you can fully utilise the network. The hotspots they send are also limited by the 30/20 cap no matter what.

Like I said, the best options are only available via EE direct or BT (I didn't say you ALWAYS got the best speeds), but the full capacity of the EE network is only available to direct customers.
