Funny that you should mention that, when I signed up with them earlier last year I couldn’t send or receive emails when connected via them. I managed to get a phone number, tried to report the fault only to be told that I’d have to send them an email, the dozzy person on the phone couldn’t get their head round the fact that if my fault was that I couldn’t send emails, then I wouldn’t be able to report the fault, they just kept insisting that I sent an email. I cancelled and got my money back.

128k

Hi, if this was a year ago it was probably affinity support you have were dealing with . There 128k only went live in June last year . there 128k service is totaly independent and ......in my opinion very good . Just check out there own forums to see what the majority of there customers think .

Anyway I think the offer has ended !

Correction!! Surfanytime 56/64k are a VISP for Affinity Internet Ltd. It is the original SAT, which they have to (reluctantly I believe) keep running, under contract.

Fireflyuk.net (56/64k) is owned and run by SATs management, and is entirely independant. Surfanytime 128k.net is part of the Fireflyuk group. Prices and AUP on 128k.net have just risen and dropped, respectively on 22/01/03.

HTH

:)
