Lost internet connection around Oct 28/29, not sure exactly when. I was out of town and am only able to attend to it now.
The situation is strange - I am able to connect to a tower, but data call fails, and I get no internet. The SIM is an eSIM which I downloaded to an esim.em eUUIC, and should last until 8th February 2026, so that shouldn't be the problem.
If I look at the logs, I see "call_end_reason is 1009", "call_end_reason_type is 6", "call_end_reason_verbose is 38", which I looked up, and found that they mean: "network failure", "3gpp network failure". I tried different PDP types, reason 1009 is with IPv4. IPv4v6 gave me "reason 2, type 3, verbose 2000", which means "client end", and I don't know what to make of it; IPv6 PDP didn't give me any errors, and I did get an IPv6 address, but still no internet connection - pinging any v6 address gave me nothing.
Popping this SIM into a phone gave me roughly the same results - an IPv6 address with no internet connection.
I have a 1pMobile SIM which is also EE, and that one works fine (and is how I am able to post right now), so I don't think the EE network died over here or anything.
