Sure, you can now get your MAC code from Breathe: however, considering how good Breathe have been with getting everyone updated as best they could, why don't you stick with them for at least a month or so to see if the best service you can get is in fact the one you're now on: Breathe?

Because sticking with them for a month or so is going to cost £50 set-up fee for a monthly contract. I'm not doing that when I can migrate to other ISP's onto a monthly contract for free!

If I try them for 2 months, that will set me back £70! Not very cost effective for a 512Kbps line.

Yes, they have been good to us, but they have not done it as a personal favour to me or anyone else, it was a business opportunity which they took advantage of.

There are more cost effective ISP's out there.

furry_gizmo,

You are using Breathe for free at the moment and will be for a while longer yet, so what do you think of it?

Hi Jeff,

So far I have not had a break in service, but I have had to restart my router a couple of times, probably because of the switch to Breathe. Haven't had to speak to tech supp yet, but I can usually resolve most issues myself.

Please don't get me wrong about Breathe, I am not complaining about their/your(?) service, but I do think that better offers could have been made to migrate people to Breathe.

Just about every ISP has a free migration option, and a £50 set-up fee seems a bit steep. I don't want to be tied into a 12 month contract.

I would be happy to discuss other offers Breathe may wish to make however.
