Setting Up Wireless AOL problems

THE ANGER SHARKS ARE SWIMMING IN MY HEAD. HELP BEFORE A BLACK WOLF EATS MY BRAIN. AHHHHH. Heh, cool film.

Anyhow, i got a Belkin Router with ADSL modem already inside and this laptop already has a wireless network thingy whatevery they are inside and i picked up an external one for my dad's laptop. Anyhow here's the part where it all falls apart because computers can't just do the right thing for me.

When config'ing it. It's PPPoA VCI 0 VPI 38 then the user name is: username@aol.com and then my password and everything should work perfectly right? Not for me. The connection isn't active at all. Anything i'm missing?

I've spent 2 hours on the phone to Belkin support and we are going around in circles, so any suggestions from this end?

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Thanks for the reply but ignore me for i am an idiot.

I thought we had the AOL account from when i set it up 12 months ago, however when i moved to australia for 5 months the internet got cancelled but then parents decided to sign up to AOL again without telling me and saving the password. Cool.

So i spent 3 hours typing the wrong password. Yipeeee.

Gap Year. Also known as a year off to get drunk and take advantage of the overflow of hot women australia has. Had to come back from university, shame :(
