Silvermead has VANISHED, if you are a user read this.

I think that this is beyond normal bounds of help and advice....

So now would be a good time to get any and all info together (With the reciepts that you got from your recorded deliveries) and I would STRONGLY suggest legal advice (At least a trip to the CAB with armloads of stuff). The fact that you have at least made the attempt to cancel shows willingness from you....But the problem is that it may not be enough for the courts, which is where it may end up.

If you have a solicitor this may be a good time to make an appointment.

Good luck.

Wahooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I have finally rid myself of silvermead and have now gone with BT ADSL MAX
I am very happy indeed. I just phoned Silvermead on the off chance that somone might answer and blow me they did.

A rather nervous and startled man answered the phone, I explained my issues and that I was pursuing ofcom and Netservices to gain my MAC code. I was told I was not a customer of silvermeads and that I had already migrated. I explained that this was wrong and everyone is telling me I need to get my MAC code from silvermead.

The man said he would have to get back to me. (suprise suprise)

Any how following morning I recieved an email (to my silvermead email address) from silvermead with my MAC code.

So now my saga ends and im sure a new one will begin..

Best of luck to all of you stuck with
Silvermead (A fresh way to get a disconnect)

No Fair!!!

Helllllppp meeeeeeeeeee...

Before you go off and dance at your broadband freedom, please could you share the pop3 address of silvermead's e-mail - i haven't ever been given one - but they might just have sent a MAC code to that? - worth a try.

Contractulations on your freedom, I'm green with envy...:hrmph:
