If the carrier enforces the use of it you don’t get the option to switch it on or off. It’s forced to be on by standard with no setting. This is common with most providers nowadays.I do not have the option to enable it on my 14 Pro
Oh that would make sense. Shame that nobody at Sky knew this.If the carrier enforces the use of it you don’t get the option to switch it on or off. It’s forced to be on by standard with no setting. This is common with most providers nowadays.
Have you tried making a phone call and seeing if you stay on 4G/LTE? You’ll probably find it does, especially if WiFi calling is working fine.
it’s not an issue. My calls go via 4G and I have an eSIM. Sky don’t make it easy to switch back to regular sim though s as you need to call them.I have 4g calling on my sky mobile regular sim, and wifi calling.
I'm going to stay away from esim if they are having this issue.
I didn’t see the setting. An earlier post explained how to check off or was working and it is despite not having any settings.I had VoLTE and WiFi Call on eSIM with Sky, so not sure why not.
Do you mean the option in settings or do you mean it doesn't work in general?
Also, what device are you using?
If you make a call and it stays on 4G then it's working.I didn’t see the setting. An earlier post explained how to check off or was working and it is despite not having any settings.
iPhone 14 Pro
I’m sure on my last iPhone a couple of years ago it was an option that’s why I was asking but now it seems it’s on by default.
