slower speeds using adsl max according to bt checker

Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial test on your line indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a line rate up to 512Kbps. However, due to the length of your line, an engineer visit may be required, who will, where possible, supply the broadband service.

Our test also indicates that your line should be able to support a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 250Kbps or greater.

The actual ADSL Max line rate supportable will be determined during the first 10 days of use, after which time the highest stable rate possible will be set.

If you decide to place an order, a further test will be performed to confirm if your line is suitable for the service you wish to purchase.

eh ?

Here's what it says about my connection:

I'm currently stuck on 512Kbps, so I'll be more than happy with 1Mb. :D

Mine says "your line should be able to support a 6.5Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max"

Just switch me over already!!!!!

My BT Checker say :

Our test also indicates that your line should be able to support a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 7Mbps up to 8Mbps.

I guess I am lucky to be closer to the exchange just 1.35km away. I am sad to learn that my entanet network had metion it won't upgrade to adslmax from April 24th until September. Look like I had to wait.

As for wozwebs (you just order UKFSN) so you could be lucky to have adslmax live once your line become activated as it say on the link:

So, good luck wozwebs, do let us know how did you get on with adslmax once you are connected to entanet network soon. :)

checker say i can get 6.8mbs up to 8mbs but when i check on bulldog website they still dont offer me the 8mbs and i,m with bulldog on the 2mbs service
