I find it so strange, my 5G Hub in the loft at the same place are no longer access to Doseley 5G mast - Band 1, N78, Cellular ID: 1109832 Cell: 72.

But it still work on other area such as Parkway 4G mast - Band 3, Cellular ID: 649216 Cell: 0.

Do you think guy smarty or three has now banned me access to 5G mast? I find it rather odd why is my 5G no longer work now?

I will be very disappointed if it no longer access me to Doseley 5G mast!

Could just be having work done so it's not accessible.

Unlikely they will just block you from a certain band.

Yes but are you saying that any snow in the area can affect 5G performance to very slow speed and sometime disconnection
Yes weather can have huge effect on mobile signals it one reason why businesses keep landline broadband as backup for reliability

I did a speed test at about 9:30 this morning while it was snowing. I didn't notice anything wrong with download or upload speeds. It wasn't exactly white-out conditions though.

Yeah 5G is total pant in my area. Doseley 5G Band 1 still offline (my favourite one because it fastest one on 5G)

get the postcode for the mast, pop it into the coverage checker, see if there's any issues.
Its likely it's gone down for maintenance.

Max really this is literally the LEAST likely scenario you could come up with. If they didnt want you they would terminate your service wholesale.
Not always true. They don't ban, per se, but they do modify carrier policy to try and limit connections to a certain masts if they are deemed to be over loaded or "limited" as the support people say.

Where I am they have a policy to offload one main mast onto other masts in the area despite being them being much weaker signal, signal quality, slower and just all round rubbish! I have to cell lock my equipment to stay on the faster mast. Very annoying but is something Three do actually do, and I know this to be fact!

Have you another 5G device that you can verify if the Band is actually offline or carrier policy is diverting you off it?

I do suspect that Three does do this but wouldn't tell you. Eg: Traffic management controlled!

I noticed both Madeley and Doseley switched off 5G all this morning from 2am onwards (p***ed me off) as they put me on 4G instead

Yes mobile phone A53 5G showing 5G active but 5G hub clearly switched off 5G
Wouldn't pay too much attention to this without verifying - have you checked on your phone via cellmapper or similar that you've actually got a 5G carrier?

That is just managing masts, its not a case of blocking a specific customer from using that band, its no where near the same thing to be honest.

I fully expect all networks to change bands and move things around masts as they feel the need.

See if you have mobile data on your mobile when connected to 5G only.
My 3 mast closed all 5G date for 5 weeks. my mobile connected to 5G but no data transfer was possible at all.
