have been using new choicebraodband speed test past few days getting speeds of 650k to 1.5 meg and today have hit 2.46meg in two tests not bad for a 512k connection on the old flex plan

checked router settings tonight and where my connection always showed 2meg as i am able to flex upto this speed it now shows 8127 or 8meg no notification from eclipse or bt but who am i to grumble

must have been put on a max connection not bad

BT are phasing out the old fixed speeds and everyone will have to be on the MAC package. They have waived the regrade charge to allow customers to move over.

There are no real unlimited packages if you continue to use the internet as you did at 2mb then you will not hit the limits if you go downloading crazy you will.

my usage wont change i use about 15 -20 gb per month
since april my usage has went up whe i added a laptop used by daughter havent monitored her usage but never had any emails or feedback from isp so must be within any hidden limitations impossed within any smallprint,

(flex packages were labbled unlimited and were before fup's came into force)
