Still waiting...... :(

So Openreach finally put us on Field Survey over a month ago now and well let's just say my area has fast internet around it but not where I am located. 4+ years been waiting for Openreach to get FTTC here and also to top it all off the cherry on top, I just heard that they tried running cable down the ducts and came to blockage. JUST GREAT NEWS........ *Sarcasm and Frustration* Does anyone have a estimate on how long blockages can take to be resolved?

Also I need the faster internet for Streaming game play on my YT Channel that I have over 2k subs on and not only that it was my dream to stream for a long time now but with the crap useless internet I am on I cannot for fill that dream :(

*Rant Over*

If anyone knows of any wireless internet companies please tell me as I am so desperate to get better internet :hrmph:

Blocked cable ducks can vary in severity and so it's always difficult to put a time-scale on them. In fact in extreme cases the cost of civil works could potentially even put an end to deployment plans and we've seen that happen in some areas, where a few houses were left with old connectivity because the cost of clearing a duct was too high.

Suffice to say that it can delay work by many months or stall the whole process. I'd suggest asking Openreach directly what their plans are and if they can proceed.

Regarding wireless companies, what county / postcode do you live in?
