Switching off wifi on Gigaclear router

I am using an Apple Airport Extreme with its own network to extend wifi round my house. I have been told the signal will improve if I turn off wifi on the gigaclear router. I am unable to work out how to do that even having spent quite a bit of time on the routers website. Any thoughts?

It might help to know the model code of the router they're shipping? Over the years they've had some different kit and it's usually fairly naff. I think they're currently on the Genexis DRG739v2 but you might have something different?

I'd be surprised if they shipped a router that doesn't have a setting to disable WiFi, which is a fairly basic feature.
