Tele2 - the truth

There seems to have been a fair bit of Tele2 slagging recently over the sidelining of residential customers and the number of pledges required for the bringing broadband 2 u offer.

I have had it confirmed by Jacqui Knight at Tele2 today that 100 pledges is all that is required. It does not matter if they are residential or business, although they would prefer business tariffs over residential.

She was quite clear, get 100 pledges and Tele2 will be there.

I think that puts the record straight. If you are unsure call Tele2 and ask for Jacqui Knight.

That makes it a bit easyer, 100 ppl in a 15km range. The only problem now ive gotta figure out is if they do turn up how the hell am i gonna pass the LOS test. <img border="0" alt="[Shrug]" title="" src="graemlins/shrug.gif" />

What does that mean? If yoiu get 100 ppl wanting it then what? do they give it to u for £39.99 or w00t??
Thanks

They are the only one with wdsl working (selling it) so no wonder they have so few transmitters.

NTL & BT are playing around with it. I doubt that other then the existing trials areas, it will ever see the light of day. They stated back in Febuary that it was going for commercial rollout but then nothing but that NTL, lots of hot air & very little action. BT are supposed to be running a trial in Cardiff , supposed to have started in January but nothing at all heard from it. So Tele2 looks to be the only realWDSL player.
