They’re not interested in non O2 zones either I feel 😅
Well I'll keep an eye on things my end, but my guess is O2's is trying to build up its urban network again to compete in the large customer base zones and with the sharing deal with Vodafone cleary going to pot it would seems area's needing to be unwound will be first.

However I'm not sure how the deal is working the other way around (ie. Vodafone in O2 areas)

This makes sense. Though with the unwind happening, I wonder if that’s why the O2 network is going to pot everywhere as noted all over Twitter, giffgaff forums and the O2 forums.

Vodafone being petty and completely deprioritising them in their parts or something. Not even sure that would be allowed but definitely worse over the past 6 months or more.

Well I was testing them in my neck of the woods earlier this year and they seemed ok, but maybe I should be picking up a sim and having a little look at things.

There’s nowhere in Chester I can go with the O2 that works reliable, especially on a Saturday; and absolutely nothing when the races are on.

Coincidently, the O2 shop it works but they explained it’s because they have some network set up in the store 😑

Yeah I’ve noticed that with Vodafone too, they have a really small panel in the corner of the shop just to serve people in that immediate area. Never seen it with EE or three though. Probably because they don’t need it to have a useable network 😂

This 5G NR EndcUsageStats menu crops up now and then, guessing it’s a mast with 5G equipment available for O2 just not active yet?

I know 100% there’s no O2 or voda 5G here and probably not likely this year either.
