Thanks Biscit/V21 for treating me like a fool!

Biscit have been pre-occupied in doing little to help anyone during this debarcle. I also suspect that it may all be part of a master plan to make money out of the Insurers for Netservices.
1. Promising ISP with excelent history but only 6,000 customers.
2. Buy up a solid established comany and promise the world... Look at us we are now a multi-million business.
3. Loose the majority of customers due to a dispute over billing with their supplier... Of which we are inocent victims of their incompetence... oopps
4. Win a legal action but now we are the worst ISP around and our client base has shrunk to nothing. They destroyed our multi-million bussiness which had potential to grow as big a BT and AOL put together Judge - award us multi-millions in compensation.

Sound like a simple plan Hugh but I for one will write to the court to offer the real reason you lost customers. Their Customer Centric policy is to ignore the customer until they are so infuriated and frustrated they go away.

It looks like the plan is working to schedule from reading all the forums and this thread.

...One thing you can thank NetSErvices , V21 and Biscit for is getting OFCOM to make MACs compulsary from 14th December.

I think you'll find that is 14th February! ie another two months away - and I for one can't wait another two months to get back some semblance of a broadband service.

Not conspiracy?

I tend to believe it's all been a 'Huge' c**k-up, rather than a conspiracy.

What sort of biscuit-case buys out a competitor, without ascertaining all their debts and disputed liabilities first??

What sort of biscuit-case fires all the loyal employees of the swallowed-up firm, before realizing he'll need them to work on, to transfer all their old customers' accounts??

What sort of biscuit-case fails to use ALL the many customer service phone lines available, but makes some 'unavailable' and others unanswered for hours, so that those, like me, who want to stay with V21, can't??

When I first received the 'Welcome' e-mail from Biscit's CEO on October 9th, I felt a strange foreboding. I e-mailed the author, asking him to reassure me that the service would indeed improve: he neither replied, nor even acknowledged. Since then, they've treated my dozen voice-mails, four e-mails and a paper form the same way - ignored them.

How do I know it's a c**k-up? No conspirators could be so absolutely inept!

Its not a conspiracy....!! Just a complete mess....!!!

I tend to agree!
Its not a conspiracy....!!
Biscit/V21 arent even bothered about their own interests!
Since Biscit has been on the scene I find I can stay online as long as as I like..... exceeding my "Lite User" quoter without a dicky bird being said........ that would never have happened with V21

The Biscit strikes again

I join every one else in asking: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE BISCIT?!!!

It is Christmas eve, my DSL Internet access is gone, again. I am back on dialup and neither the site www.biscit.net nor www.v21.co.uk is accessible! Let me not go into the fact that since my reconnection, P2P file sharing has become practically impossible, I was hardly able to use an exam registration site because the connection kept timing out, and I found myself having to answer the question: "why is DSL slower than modem?" Yes, the question was from a child!

But yea, I know, it's almost like I have no right to come back to this forum to complain about this ISP again after my last post. I was advised to take my leave of Biscit by many who were talking from experience.

In my defense, I can say that I was impressed by the prompt response triggered by the thread. Also, like someone else said, I was quite happy with my Internet connection with surf24-7.net. It was fast and P2P file transfer rates which I use as a benchmark were like a dream.

Now once again I am in the dark. Is anyone else's reconnected v21 broadband unavailable or is it just me? Does anyone know of a technical problem with biscit/v21 broadband infrastructure as of today? Where could I get some info?

By the way, the matter is concluded. I am leaving the Biscit. Instead of signing the direct debit form they just sent me, I will begin now to fight for my MAC code.

Info appreciated.
