Recently I wrote stating that I have never had any problems with the service provided by Wanadoo/Freeserve. Well now I can substantiate this by telling you about a recent incident.
Two days ago I loaded a new program and everything went wrong. The computer locked up and no matter what I did it failed to load. So I had no alternative but to re-install Windows. Having done this I then needed to load all of my usual software. The major problem I had was getting the Copper jet modem to work. I tried many things but in the end I telephoned Wanadoo support. The person I spoke to was very polite and within a couple of minutes had me 'up and running'. I never thought to change the connection to another USB port but that was the answer. The man even said at one stage that he would arrange to send me another modem.
So there it is, another satisfied customer!! As I have said on many an occasion I have never had any real problems with my ISP and have no intention of switching.
