Three 5G issues - any ideas?

have 03 5g home broadband on a Huawei 5g CPE PRO2
I am about 50 m from the mast, line of site - router is by the window, nothing in the way - it gets an excellent signal - issue is not here.
Download speeds between 80 - 200, upload speed 4 - 6 - measured on our windows laptops.
have a new smart TV (LG part of the 5g package) - although it says connected by ethernet - when trying to access any app it says the connection is unstable and will not connect.
have an old android phone that cannot connect to the internet through wireless
My wifes slightly new phone does connect, but with frequent issues.

have changed the router and then changed the sim to no avail.

any ideas?

Hi, are you sure the mast you see is the actual Three mast?
If you log in the UI at http://192.168.8.1, in the Device Information, what are the values for RSRP, RSRQ and SINR?

Also note down the cell ID. You can then use Cellmapper with the cell ID calculator to find the mast.
It can catch you out. For over a year I thought that the mast my router and phone were using was one on a hill in virtual line-of-site about 3/4 mile away. Turned out the actual Three mast was more than double that distance. The one I could see is shared by EE and Vodaphone.

I did go up to the mast and check it was a three mast before ordering.

greek to me - but I understand these are very good?

RSRP -76 dBm
RSRQ -4.0 dB
SINR 20dB
They're good. It could mean the mast is too contended..
Just to rule out the router, if you put the sim in the mrs's phone, does it get better results?

I've replaced the router and the sim. My wifes phone is just 4g - but will give that a go. when trying to do a speed test on my phone earlier i got 21mps download and 0 upload over wifi.

going to see if I can reset the TV tomorrow.

Lucian, what upload speed would be considered normal with 5g if I am getting 80 - 200 download?

There is no normal, but I would expect a minimum of 10 Mbps to have a reasonable experience.. But it does look like the mast is oversubscribed..

Cell mapper (cellmapper.net) has a menu option "Tools". From there select eNB ID calculator and enter the six digit Cell ID that you got from your phone or router. This should return the 4/5 digit eNB ID which is shown on the map.

Going through troubleshooting on the TV.

Used hot spot on my mobile- worked no problem with mobile data, but when changing to wifi, got the network unstable message. I use smarty - which is also o3 and probably from the same tower - although 4g only

something to do with the upload.

I can stream 3 HD streams no problem - but it seems to be when an android device needs to send data/ make a connection. some sort of protocol missing? Something done when my account was set up?

Yeah, it looks like the abysmal upload (which relies on 4g) is the problem.
Return if you can, imho.

Btw, the ISP is called Three (3), not O3. Don't confuse with O2 which is a different one.
What operator do you use in your phonr? Might be worth switching to that one.

Trying changing the WiFi to 5mhz so it dont automatically connect to 2.5mhz wifi see if that helps normally having it to auto means that as you might know it connects to 5mhz giving you faster speeds when your near it and where your far away its 2.5mhz as 2.5mhz gives wider wifi ranger

Few corrections I need to make here
(Sorry, I know it's a tad rude to correct people but it must be done!)
2.4 & 5 GHZ (NOT MHz)
Its just 3 or three, not O3. I think your getting it confused with O2.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see lucian had already mentioned the O3 situation.
