Three down again.

alas still down for me. I will take a little trip to another mast a bit later and see if it's just my local one. I have a signal, but no data.

Oh no, that's a strange one dabigm, hope you get it sussed soon.
Make sure you haven't accidently hit the external antenna switch, only a plonker would do that though of course.

Does Settings -> "About Phone" show an "IP address" populated and is 8.8.8.8 pingable?

It has a real IP (it's on the 3Internet APN right now, I swapped to it after the "three.co.uk" one didn't work either). Nothing pings.

No issues here in Nottingham NG6 at all - 5G mobile broadband been rock solid throughout, Smarty the same. Not been in the van the last two days, but nothing to suggest the Scan data SIM wouldn't work in the TPLink mifi oojamapflip either.

Oh by the way, not sure if it has affected anyone else on three with the recent outages, but for me, the adult filter is active again.
Not sure what's worse, the thought that you felt the need to check it (and by extension by searching for what exactly?) OR the fact that you felt the need to share 😂

As I'm sure you are aware, I would never visit any adult sites dazmatic.😇
It can of course stop access to some gambling websites too.😊
And I am unanimous in that! 😁

My acid test is Soft Cell's website. Really. If I can't get on that, then it's either VPN time again, or another 10 minute live chat to 3.

Same for me today, went down at 11am not fully back until 3.30pm.
Intermittent connection on band n28 during the down time.

It's as if they're working through masts a couple at a time doing something.

My speeds on B28 during up/down time.

mine just came back. very weird like at 21:30 on the dot.
i didn't get the opportunity to go out to try another mast.
glad it's back because I also lost my regular DSL for a bit this afternoon and that meant for the first time both of my links were down simultaneously.

Hi,

Is anyone still got problems with Three?

This morning my I found I couldn't load any web pages on my pc using my Three connection even though the 5G hub reported a successful connection.

All other devices connected also failed to work except, it seems, my iPhone but I’m starting to wonder if although it reported Wi-Fi connection it wasn’t actually working via esim (also on Three).

I have ruled the hub out by testing with a Lyca SIM. I’ve only had the darn thing two days after the original stopped recognising the SIM all together.

Before I try anything else I’m wondering whether there is still problems with Three!

Cheers

Three has been beautiful down South. Seems more like localised issues to be honest.

Three mobile internet has been rubbish in Eastbourne the last 3 weeks and is getting worse and worse in the evenings. We used to get 6-700 meg but it has been between 3meg and 100 if you are lucky. I am talking late evenings so not exactly peak times. They did have some work going on according to their network checker but that has said "no work" for more than a week now... the "tech team" said the mast is fine...

I will look to leave at the end of my contract, which is coming up soon. You get no help or warning and they just say they might be able to update my router when the contract runs out. But I don't think it's the router at all. Pretty poor customer service from Three.
