Three Improve Upload Speeds (Huawei CPE Pro 2 - H122-373)

Is there any tweaking I can do to improve the upload speed on my CPE Pro 2? The downloads are spot on, between 300 and 700Mb/s, but the upload can barely push 10Mb/s. I know this will never be symmetrical on LTE and the upload has to 'shout' back to the tower, but I've seen other's speedtest screenshots showing 70-100Mb/s.

Edit: bits and bytes corrections.

I currently find on Three UK that 5G-NSA upload is bad and 4G LTE+ upload is better.

To avoid confusion, "b" should refer to bits and "B" to bytes.

I guess this comes down to my device and nearby towers then. I've locked Band 1 so that the Huawei unit picks up the 5G tower on the edge of town rather than the 4G-only one in the centre of town. I did notice on the central one that I'd get ~40Mb/s upload, but only 60-70Mb/s upload.

On Three UK, I've also found the problem of my router camping on 4G LTE connections instead of switching to 5G-NSA. In my case, I found it was effective to exclude the 2CA 4G LTE bands which the router was preferring (I excluded B1+B3) and this reliably got me 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps down versus under 5 Mbps up (which is worse than 4G LTE 50 Mbps up).

It seems like we are seeing similar things but I have worse 5G-NSA uploads (sub 5 Mbps).

That's probably the issue then - given the UL speeds you're seeing the 5G metrics (ones you can see in the UI, and ones you cannot) are not good enough for it to use the 5G bearer for UL in addition to the B1 UL (mast says it cannot hear the router shouting well enough).

You might be able to reposition the router to try get it in a location where the 5G bearer is used for UL, but that'll be very trial and error

What device do you have @mikeliuk? I don't have any options to exclude bands / carrier-aggregations, only to lock to one band.
Teltonika TRB500. In hindsight, I would have liked to have QoS/SQM functionality from the RUTX50 instead.

I'm lucky that the XPOL omni-directional antenna is satellite speaker stand mounted so I have been able to fine tune the SINR from an average of 0 to 2 dB to the numbers shown in the pic: https://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/threads/antenna-type-and-location-recommendation.41655/post-360237

As performance is pretty satisfactory, I'm not planning to explore positioning much more but if I had the requirement to give video presentations, it's probably something I would need to look into further. Thankfully, I have no such requirement.
