Three improvements?

I've been happily using three 5G for a while now and it's been great.

But they sent me a text saying work in my area, and I honestly thought oh great, another week of slow speeds but I never noticed any interruption at all. But today I noticed a significant improvement today when testing.

The ping has dropped a few ms, and the upload has increased dramatically.
Previous best was 700/30ish. Download is about the same, jitter seems less too.

So what is your backup @dabigm ?
You know Three will mess it up at some point and leave you out in the cold for a while.

Waiting for fibre, but currently Virgin Media. Out of contract with VM so when FTTP comes .. bye bye VM.

I did plan of moving to Three 5G broadband or FTTP if they actually were available but as my town only has FTTC or VM with Three 5G only available in limited areas, I decided I might as well stick with VM.

Hopefully Three wakes up and improves the 5G coverage in 18 months time but I'm doubtful.

Yep until I got a 5G mast stuck near me just 3 months ago there was the same here. FTTC or VM. Nothing else.

I would say the chances of three improving 5G for you are good. Unless you have a luddite council like I do. They've done more deployments than anyone else and I have yet to see any 5G network in the UK that's faster overall. Don't give up, in 2019 they put 5G here in my town but far from me and I got it occasionally but mostly 4G that all changed last year.

I thought it was everywhere outside of London that was the case... London is pretty good for Three 5G.
Not the case in my area near as im near Victoria park Tower Hamlets side where im on the edge of 5G coverage been waiting over 3 years now nothing.

I do get 5G coverage but speeds are not that good as im getting 40mbps speeds to over 100mbps.

During peak times its worse get only 40mbps to around 70mbps or even more sometimes speeds are not stable it fluctuates websites dont load as fast sometimes.

I do get most of the times cpe pro router going from 5G to 4G when I switch the router on and off it goes back to 5G.

I also get Internet hanging sometimes.

If Three network are making improvements in other parts of London and the country how does that make me feel.

Feel like Three network have stalled in my area or they cant find ideal space to put rooftop 5G mast or mast pole up from what I can see Three network haven't put any application through for a 5G mast pole or cellnex putting anything through
