Three Mobile. Any insider know what the flip is going on lately?!

As was well publicised, Three had a massive outage a few days ago...seemingly over most of the country, phones and broadband. They supposedly had to replace some kind of part but since then our 3 home wireless broadband has been going down every day...7 ish...8 ish it goes off and then comes back at very low speeds...off and on for about half an hour until normal speeds return. It seems to be dropping off quite often for short periods....randomly.
The 3 network checker says there are no faults in my area, Sussex but does anyone know what is going on or has anyone else had these issues?
It has been very good for the last year or so but now we may have to switch because it's messing up a lot of devices and is very annoying!

You are not the only one.

Is your service down?

A quick Google search suggests that Three has had problem earlier in December too due to a faulty network device. Apparently they are going to merge with Vodafone soon, so maybe they will improve.

Hoping to merge with Vodafone, subject to regulatory scrutiny and major challenges. It’s not set as yet, just put forward.

They want to, but I’m not sure it’ll be ‘soon’.

It might be a coincidence but before the outage, my RSRP signal was -79 to -82 since the outage it’s -92 to -94 RSRP, it doesn’t make a difference to my broadband speed at all, I just thought it was unusual. But something really strange that I can’t explain is one of my scancom sims started losing connection first, then my 3 5g home broadband router (Three sim) totally stopped connecting, red light on router, but my other scancom sim (I have two) in my Samsung phone worked flawlessly, all through the outage, I made the phone into a hotspot, and watched YouTube and surfed the web all outage long, how was that possible, I can’t explain it.

Any more stats?

Have the reduce transmission power or something?
