Three not offering home broadband for my postcode.

I have been with Three on a 24 month contract which is about to end.
I have the old ZTE MC801A and it works very well, over 500Mbps down usually and 100 up.
When I put my address and postcode into their coverage checker it shows full 5G availability and says 5G is strong, indoors and outdoors.
However when I then click on the "check broadband" tab it says
"We can't offer Home Broadband at your address right now, but we're busy expanding our network to connect more homes."
How bizarre! Do you think maybe they are over subscribed here or are planning to switch off the mast sometime soon?
They offered me a new, 2 year contract last week (I said no thanks) so this is very odd...
Anyone else had this?
Thoughts?

I've tried putting my postcode into Three's checker a few times and they said they weren't able to offer me 5G broadband in the past, but now they say that they are able to offer me 5G broadband? (so basically the opposite has happened)

I suspect I wouldn't actually get 5G anyways, B1 is at a low signal strength iirc despite the Three PoW being much closer to me than my local EE serving site which barely manages signal on B3.

You get this message when they are experiencing network congestion. Sometimes it’s just a few weeks to manage demand, sometimes it will reopen but only for 4G orders, and other times it will remain closed for the long term until they increase capacity in the area.

You’ll still be able to buy via the upgrades team, by going instore, or even online by simply bypassing the address checker.

Thanks, Koda.
Very helpful info.
I guess we will just stay as we are as at the end of our 24 months term we are on a monthly extension hopefully. So if any good deal comes out we can use that as and when.

I had the same situation where i could get 800+ Mbps download .My renewal options it only showed 4g ???
checker told me i couldn't get 5g..So i phoned 3 at the end of my contract to cancel. The woman said well if you can definitely get 5g i can sell you a new contract.
