The EE/3 mast in Dalkeith is due to get an upgrade in the new year I see the roadworks planned on the road commissioner page, when I was with EE used to get a decent 120-140 from it standing opposite at the bank of ScotlandWent to Midlothian Community Hospital today and decided to steal TheWeeBear's weather idea. (Don't worry, this is just a one-off!) Also just ignore the alarm in the corner, it's for medication.

In spite of the 6Mb/s download looking respectable, it was a dire experience. Nothing seemed to load. nPerf just point-blank refused to do a test. The mast isn't that far away either but it's B3-only.
Also went into the centre of Dalkeith.

The experience was pretty decent, considering.
Sounds like good news. I really wish VMO2 would upgrade their mast in the town centre! The performance is absolute crap. The EE/3 mast in Dalkeith is due to get an upgrade in the new year I see the roadworks planned on the road commissioner page, when I was with EE used to get a decent 120-140 from it standing opposite at the bank of Scotland
100% with you there it only broadcasts bands 3 and 20 why do O2 not use their full spectrum in town centres it beats me ! Also near enough every mast around Dalkeith has 5G from O2Sounds like good news. I really wish VMO2 would upgrade their mast in the town centre! The performance is absolute crap.
Very nice of 3 removing 3G without a usable 4G serviceGood old 3 tonight in Pathhead, Midlothian 3 has only 5mhz of bandwidth on band 20 here and this is the result can’t even load speed testnot the worst speed on 3G a pretty strong signal from 3G too but wants to cling on to 4G with dear life! Was actually thinking of moving my dad over to iD mobile but I don’t think I’ll bother and stick to O2
