So I ordered three home broadband but return before 14 days, but still charging me, keep getting phone calls emails and text saying I owe x amount, but told them I cancelled and returned device within 14 days yet still harassing me about it.

Tell them you want to make a formal complaint before you raise the matter with Ofcom. It costs them to have Ofcom look into it and sometimes it can be a magic solves everything phrase. I would do it in writing/ email. If do pay (e.g. to stop bad credit) say they you are making payment "under protest".

Good luck. Hopefully it's just a misunderstanding

It almost certainly isn't Ofcom who would deal with this. They are more for the broadcasting side of things and the day-to-day operation of the network to make sure that they comply with the regulations.

For a consumer complaint about something like billing, it would be the communications ombudsman that you need to speak to instead.

OP Needs to raise a formal complaint with Three first though. And then if they don't resolve it suitably or within a reasonable amount of time it can be escalated to the ombudsman.

I highly recommend to preserve any proof of postage you have (or any admission they received the parcel), or tracking details would be even better.

Probably worth informing your bank of the situation and rely on the Direct Debit Guarantee, if applicable.

Contact Ofcom. They shouldn't be harrassing you like this. Also keep an eye on your credit report. They might put a report on it.

But surely @AshOnFire1989 even if you return within the "cooling off" period, you do still have to pay pro-rata for the number of days you had and used the device ? ;)

No charges, even for the data used, when I sent a router back within 14 days. That was over two years ago when I wanted to test 4G while still in contact with Shell Broadband. Six months later I took out a 24 month contact which finishes this May.

Talking to them again on live chat, so far they have gone quiet for 30 mins checking stuff that's already been said to them previously
