Three - terrible the last few days, is it just me?

My Three internet has been 'OK' for a while but the last few days has become almost unusable with massive latency. Has any one else on Three noticed this, or is it local to me (Herne Bay)?

Status checker says no issues (doesn't it always!)
Rebooted everything
Changed APN
Changed Bands (B818)

All to no avail.

5G download speeds were regularly slipping below 200 mb/s over the weekend. I presumed it was just busy. It's ok now.

Do you use a Three broadband SIM? I've 3 (please don't ask) CPE Pro 2's all running Three, 2 with phone sims and one with the original broadband sim, all running on three.co.uk apn settings. Whichever one has the broadband sim in drops to 4g regularly (I change them round) but the 2 with phone sims in remain on 5g pretty much all the time. I'm thinking of asking Three to swap the broadband for a normal phone sim......

My MC801A often drops to 4G+ from 5G but when there's any load it quickly reverts to 5G so there's little detriment to having it do this. It doesn't bother me. I just assumed Three were doing a bit of load balancing. I usually use the 3internet APN.

All good here, no dropouts or anything although i'm not hitting much more than 600mbit now (can hit up to 800 most of the time) I can only imagine more people have 5G now near me.

Speaking of 3, does anyone know what would cause massive ping spikes on 4G? Going from 50ms upto 3-400ms, signal level is 91dbm, Band 3, speeds are around 20, 50 at the cell site so it isn't congestion I don't think. No such issue with 3G

It does say that it might not come until later this year, but I was able to get around 30Mbps on it in a town centre which is a bit too good for O2 so I thought new customers had been switched over already
Ah I had my thoughts about truphone on O2 given to the fact that I used them on my iPad a few weeks ago and the service showed as "O2-UK LTE"
